For more than four generations, Ustad Allah Bux’s family has kept the magnificent flame of Kashi-kari (blue glazed pottery) alive in Multan. Using clay sourced from the banks of the historic Indus River, he spends days turning, hand-carving floral grooves, painting in deep cobalt and turquoise pigments, and firing the kiln to preserve Sindhi history.
